The Resistance Begins

In this week’s America Has Fallen Podcast (Season 2, Episode 2), Laura notes that no response is often the best response. Although we enjoy venting on the pod and sharing clips on social media, online silence can starve the algorithm. It turns out that old-school blogging and curating an email list allow us to share our thoughts without necessarily feeding the beast.

This week’s pod has inspired Linda to kick it old school as she fills her Resistance Toolbox. (So much so, she can’t get 2013 Miley Cyrus out of her head.)

Still Podcasting

I like podcasting because I like talking. I enjoy discussing American politics because I’m an opinionated American (shocking, I know). But I hate the marketing part. If you don’t tell people you have a podcast, why record a podcast? I could just call Laura, my podcasting cohort, weekly and bitch about politics over the phone….
