It takes a beat to create a podcast, and since anything can happen, it’s smart to have a couple of episodes in the queue, just in case.

But if you’re talking politics during the Trump Regime, doing things right means ignoring breaking news and accepting that doing slow, reactionary podcasting is your niche. Honestly, we’re okay with that because we’re not journalists, and breaking news deserves to be produced by professionals equipped with impeccable fact-checkers. Because there are plenty of people doing great work every day, there is no need for us to reinvent the wheel here.

Although there will be time to dissect what the ICE actions of this week mean (along with the horrific responses by the Trump Regime), waiting weeks to honor a slain American is wrong.
