Day 9: Failing at Foot Flexion

I have foot drop.

Foot drop sucks.

Foot drop is a gait abnormality where I’m unable to keep my foot flexed while walking. This results in an awkward dragging of my foot-hiking up my hip action with every step I take.

I trip a lot, don an ugly as shit brace and at this point can only wear tennis shoes.

I thought my foot drop was going to be solved during my Anat Baniel Method period back in 2014, but it only got worse. (I’ll tell you how I failed ABM in a future post).

In my dreams not only do I still walk but sometimes I even run in fabulous, high heels. I’m convince that as long as I can dream it, I can achieve it. This more than anything, gives me hope.
